Residents of Presteigne came out in their numbers to the towns’ Remembrance Sunday services to show their respects to the country’s war fallen

Residents of Presteigne came out in their numbers to the towns’ Remembrance Sunday services to show their respects to the country’s war fallen

Presteigne’s service was led by the Reverend Stephen Hollinghurst. A parade then took place to St Andrew’s Church, where a service was held. 

Representatives from Presteigne and Norton Town Council, Presteigne County Councillor Beverley Baynham, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service Presteigne branch, Dyfed Powys Police, the Royal British Legion, Royal Navy, Royal Airforce, Royal Engineers, Army and young members of the squirrels, beavers, cubs and scouts all laid wreaths.
