£100 for best Shropshire and Mid Wales school nativity photograph
Whether your child is a mini-Mary, a little donkey or a cracking inn keeper, we want to see your pictures of the little ones this nativity season.
The Shropshire Star will be publishing pictures of school nativities and Christmas plays both in the paper and online in the run-up to Christmas.
And the best photo will win £100 – so there is an extra incentive to get involved.

Send your photos to us at shropshirestar.com/nativity and follow the instructions. Alternatively, email them to newsroom@shropshirestar.co.uk
We know how important nativity productions and more modern Christmas plays are at schools, so we want to celebrate the weeks of preparation that go into putting on the perfect show.
They are an opportunity for pupils to take centre stage and show off their acting skills – and will provide lifelong memories for proud families.
There is no set criteria for the photos and the winner could take a variety of forms. It could be a traditional take on the story, or a modern interpretation set in the present day.
The production might be by a village school with just a handful of pupils, or it might be an extravaganza involving scores of youngsters at one of our larger high schools. Either way, we want to see your pictures.
We will also accept photos from rehearsals if the actual production takes place after the deadline for submissions.
The results will form part of a special picture pull-out in the paper as well as forming a Shropshire Star online gallery.
Editor Martin Wright said: "This is a chance for your school to showcase your pupils' talent as well as teachers' and parents' efforts at costume-making.
"There's also the chance of a £100 cash prize for the best photo we receive – or a bucket-full of chocolate selection boxes for the winning class.
"Not only that, but the winning cast will have the opportunity to tour the Shropshire Star newsroom and receive a framed picture of the winning photo."
The best pictures will be published on December 15 and the deadline for entries is December 11.
