Proposals for the farm at Henley Hall Estate, near Ludlow, will top the agenda at next Thursday's session of the Ludlow and Clee Local Joint Committee (LJC), which involves parish and county councillors along with other local organisations.

Representatives from German renewable energy firm Kronos Solar, which has applied for planning permission for the 32-acre site at Squirrel Lane, between Lower Ledwyche and Henley Hall, will attend.

Peter van Duijvenvoorde, chairman of the Save South Shropshire Hills campaign group, which is fighting large scale solar farms, said opponents would make their presence known at the meeting which is being held in Knowbury Village Hall.
