Shropshire bridge to close for repair works
A busy Shropshire bridge will be closed while essential work is carried out to repair a damaged parapet.

Condover Bridge will be closed from Tuesday, May 5 for up to three days to enable work to be carried out.
The bridge carries traffic along the Dorrington road over the Cound brook.
The work will involve taking down and rebuilding the part of the damaged downstream parapet.
The bridge must be closed to traffic while the work is being carried out as it is too narrow for the work to be carried out safely with the bridge open.
When the road is closed to vehicles, traffic will be diverted via Dorrington and along the A49.
Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will remain available at the bridge throughout the work.
