Mid Wales radio station closes down
A radio station covering Mid Wales has stopped broadcasting with immediate effect.

Radio Hafren, based in Newtown, has ceased trading. Its website has also closed.
The station's website has also been closed down, but it is not known how many jobs have been affected.
Ofcom, the Government body which regulates UK broadcasting, confirmed that Radio Hafren had gone off the air yesterday and a spokesman for the regulator said: (WED).
A spokesman for Ofcom said: "We are aware Radio Hafren has stopped broadcasting and "We are speaking with the station to confirm its status."
The station, based in premises owned by Powys County Council at Back Lane Car Park, Newtown, took over from Radio Maldwyn after its closure in 2010.
