Shrewsbury woman who burgled her own grandmother is back in court
A Shrewsbury woman who once burgled her own grandmother has admitted shoplifting, assault and drugs offences – which all took place on the same day.
Stacey Louise Swanson, 23, of of Spring Gardens, was convicted of burglary and fraud in the summer after pawning stolen family heirlooms.
And she was back before Shrewsbury magistrates yesterday to admit theft, common assault and possession of cannabis resin.
In June, Swanson found herself before the bench when she was sentenced for betraying her grandmother.
The following month she was caught stealing perfume worth £72.50 from Rackhams in Shrewsbury while wearing an electronic curfew tag. And in August she took a number of items from Tesco amounting to £19 which she had not paid for.
Swanson, pleaded guilty to all the charges and has been sentenced for those offences
Yesterday she appeared at Shrewsbury Magistrates Court where she admitted three more offences – which all took place in the town on November 11.
She stole £148 worth of perfume and toiletries from Boots, assaulted Peter Roy Manning and was in possession of cannabis resin.
Her case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report.
