Claude Bosi, chef-patron of the two Michelin-starred Hibiscus restaurant, has launched The Townhouse in Ludlow with his brother, Cedric.

Claude Bosi founded Hibiscus in Corve Street at the turn of the Millennium and won a raft of awards before relocating to London's Mayfair. He recently scored nine out of 10 in the Good Food Guide 2015, placing among the best handful of chefs in the UK.

His brother, Cedric Bosi, is the owner of The Charlton Arms, at Ludford Bridge, in Ludlow. He has previously worked with Claude at Hibiscus and also helped to co-found two successful dining pubs in London and one at Yarpole, near Leominster.

The brothers believe The Townhouse will become a huge hit with visitors from around the UK.

Cedric Bosi said: "There is a shortage of high quality rooms in Ludlow and we are delighted to be opening The Townhouse. It is situated in the heart of the town, above De Grey's, and the rooms have been refurbished to a high standard.

"We'll be offering the highest standards of accommodation and we'll also be working with local suppliers so that visitors get an authentic taste of Ludlow."

Claude Bosi added: "The intention is that people will stay at The Townhouse and then eat at The Charlton Arms, which is a short walk away through the picturesque town centre.

"Ludlow has so much to offer. It has a special place in my heart because this is the town where we founded Hibiscus. I regularly return to Ludlow to see my family and friends and I am sure The Townhouse will be a big success."

The Townhouse has nine luxury rooms offering deluxe and superior accommodation.
