£3m plans approved for Newtown church
A £3 million church will be built in a town in Mid Wales, it has been confirmed.

Plans for the new Hope Church on Dolfor Road have been approved by Powys County Council and it is hoped it will open by autumn 2015.
Members of the congregation first launched their vision for "a flagship building for Newtown" last July and since then have been working on fundraising.
"We are delighted to receive the news that we can move ahead with our plans to vastly improve the facilities we can offer to our community," said Reverend Alan Hewitt, senior minister at Hope Church.
