Red sky in morning captured by Star Witness
Relaxing on a bench as the sun rises through the mist, this walker is enjoying a scene of pure tranquillity.
The stunning photograph, taken by John Richards on Whitcliffe, is one of more than 200 images sent to our fantastic new Star Witness photography showcase.
We are inviting readers to send us images showing life around the region, from the picturesque, to the light hearted and the serious.
Mr Richards, of Ludlow, is now in the running for a £100 prize, which will be handed out every month to the photographer with the best image.

We've been overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of images received.
The standard of submissions has been outstanding, whether captured on a smartphone, tablet or professional camera.
Readers have answered our call for their personal portraits of our region at work, rest and play. Whether it's an impromptu snap of a rainbow, or a perfectly composed view of the region's rolling hills, you've been out taking pictures to share with our army of thousands of web users.
Star social media editor Mike Woods said: "John's picture is really just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the breadth of material that we are now receiving.
"But there's a lot more of Shropshire and Mid Wales life that hasn't yet been captured. "We're keen to see your portraits of the interesting characters that make our region what it is.
"Whether it's the market trader who's been working the same stall for 30 years, or the lollipop lady who's a hero to all those she helps, we want to showcase them."
We want you to be inspired by John's image and get behind the lens to get snapping – and send us your pictures.
It could be anything from a local band playing their first gig in a small pub, to a picture your friend took of you with the Prime Minister.
Mike added: "It's great to see Star Witness really taking off. We will be showcasing the best pictures in the paper in the coming months, and longer term we will be introducing a mobile app to make it even easier for readers to share pictures."
