Shropshire artist who painted Queen's portrait is holding exhibition
A Shropshire artist who painted a portrait of The Queen is to exhibit her work in London.
Claire Eastgate, from Church Stretton, who was commissioned by the Kennel Club of Great Britain to paint a portrait of the Queen earlier this year, is joining three other professional artists to exhibit her work at The Troubadour in Earls Court, in London.
The exhibition will run for two days each month, with the first showing on October 2 and 3.

Claire's work, including a painting of a bull terrier boxer, will be shown alongside art from former Thames Television set designer Mike Hall from Hampshire, BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year finalist Paul Matthews from Dorset and Charles Summers from Cornwall, one of the world's leading fan artists and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Claire said: "This suits me very well indeed.
"It's a prime location and I am very excited to be part of this group exhibition."
It is the latest achievement in a busy year for the Shropshire artist, whose work featuring The Queen was unveiled in May.
Her work captured Her Majesty in a casual setting.
Claire, who attended the Grove School in Market Drayton before moving on to Shrewsbury College and Birmingham School of Fine Art is well-known for her paintings of dogs.
She has previously sold one of her paintings, Fernando the Cockerel, to the Duchess of Cornwall.
