Queues form early in Shrewsbury as Boxing Day sales get under way
[gallery] High streets and shopping centres up and down the country were swamped by millions of bargain-hunters today as the traditional Boxing Day sales got under way.

A massive queue was already snaking more than quarter of a mile up Shrewsbury's Pride Hill before the Next clothes store opened its doors at
6am. First in the queue was Louisa Link, 29, from Ludlow, who arrived at 3.30am with her mother-in- law, Sally Link, and sister-in-law, Joanne Link.
