Harper Adams expert to help save ash trees
A Shropshire academic has been drafted in to join a national taskforce fighting the spread of the disease which threatens to wipe out Britain's 80 million ash trees.

Cases of ash dieback have been confirmed in 10 English counties, including Shropshire.
Now Simon Leather, Professor of Entomology at Harper Adams University College in Edgmond, near Newport, has been chosen to be one of 10 tree experts leading efforts to fight the disease.
