Seventeen poultry thefts in the Market Drayton area are being linked by police.
Chickens, bantams and hand-reared ducks have been taken at various locations in the last week including Rosehill, Longford, Sutton and in Simons Road and Rush Lane.
Police have warned people who keep poultry in the area to be on their guard. Officers have appealed for anyone with information to contact Market Drayton police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
