A former police serious crime investigator appeared in Shrewsbury Crown Court today charged with sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl from Shropshire.

A former police serious crime investigator appeared in Shrewsbury Crown Court today charged with sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl from Shropshire.

Ian Wyn Williams, 45, of Trem Eryri, Llanfairpwll, Anglesey, was charged with two counts of sexual activity with the girl from Church Stretton.

He also faces other unrelated charges.

Williams, who was a civilian police worker, was bailed to appear back at the court on October 24, when he will enter pleas.
