About 60 firefighters were this afternoon tackling a major fire on farmland in north Shropshire.
Six fire appliances were called to Sutton Farm, Sutton Lane, Woodseaves, near Market Drayton.
Crews were called out at about midday after reports that about 2,200 tons of elephant grass, a type of straw, was alight.
Steve Purslow, incident commander for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, said he expected drews to remain at the scene overnight bringing the blaze under control.
