Two Ludlow businesses could be closed for up to a week following floods.
The Value House and Shapla, both in Ludlow's Broad Street, were flooded after an upstairs water pipe burst on Monday night.
Part of the ceiling fell in at the Value House store and the stock room suffered water damage.
Meanwhile, at the Indian restaurant Shapla next door, staff came in yesterday morning to find the main dining room three inches deep in water.
Clare Stanness, manager at Value House, said: "The pipes are in the roof and they burst and brought the ceiling down.
"I don't know how much we've lost yet, as we can't turn anything electric on.
"The fire brigade turned the water off and found the leak, now we've got to find a plumber. I think we will be closed at least a week."
Shakil Ahmed, from the Shapla restaurant, said: "We got up just after 7am, the alarm went off. We went to switch it off because it's in the main restaurant and when we got down to the bar there was about three inches of water."
Mr Ahmed said they had called the fire service who had turned the electrics off.
He said: "We were hoping to open on Tuesday because we had a few bookings and we were almost fully booked for the rest of the week.
"But it looks like we will be closed for four days to a week."
