The 17-year-old, from Bayston Hill near Shrewsbury, watched Saturday's show with millions of other viewers after performing in front of the judges earlier this summer. But despite not making Saturday's TV cut, the performing arts student at Shrewsbury College is remaining optimistic that her successful audition will be aired on this weekend's show. She said: "It was so surreal being up on the stage in front of the judges, I couldn't believe it was really happening. It has been my dream to perform on X Factor and it was amazing to be there for my first ever audition." "It was so scary, I didn't realise there would be such a big audience. There were more than 3,000 people there and it was a great atmosphere. "When I sung my first song Simon couldn't believe it was my voice and they asked me to sing a second song.
