Letter: Thanks for quick response

Letter: As your readers might have noticed I am pretty quick when it comes to complaining. It makes no difference who or what, if it deserves criticism it gets it.

On this occasion I must write to complement the Shropshire Highways department. Last Wednesday after that dusting of snow that caused so many people such trouble, I once again hit a pothole in the road at Queenshead.

It was about 10cm deep and jerked the steering wheel quite violently. I contacted the highways department to tell them that I considered it a hazard.

By 4pm that same day it had been filled in. Well done highways department.
