More than 300 hardy souls braved the elements to welcome in 2010 with a fundraising dash across the Long Mynd.
Organisers were delighted with the turnout for Shropshire's annual Morning After charity fun and run walk yesterday.
And the participants, who walked or ran around the lower slopes of the Long Mynd in Church Stretton, raised £1,000 for charity.
John Corfield, one of the organisers of the New Year's Day event, congratulated everyone.
