Police swooped on the address in Saville Close yesterday, kicking the door down before conducting a search inside that uncovered a small quantity of Class A drugs.
Telford police spokesman Chris Ammonds said Wellington's local policing team was responding to information and complaints from residents.
A man and a woman in their mid-20s were arrested on suspicion of possession of the drugs and theft. They have been bailed until the new year pending further inquiries by police.
Police recovered several "suspicious items" from the house and will spend the next few days examining them for links to crime.
Mr Ammonds said: "We are really grateful to the local community for informing us about this.
"We do get reports all the time, and sometimes people may not think we are acting upon them, but sometimes we have to build up intelligence before acting and this was a perfect case in point."
A Saville Close resident, who did not wish to be named, said: "There have been all sorts of problems in the street.
"We have made plenty of complaints to the police, so it was great to see them act upon it and do something about it."
