Ignorance is no excuse
LETTER: Since leaving school in 1965 I have been told year on year, mostly by Labour governments, that we must all tighten our belts, work more for less and pay more stealth taxes to help our poor country out of the mire.
LETTER: Since leaving school in 1965 I have been told year on year, mostly by Labour governments, that we must all tighten our belts, work more for less and pay more stealth taxes to help our poor country out of the mire.
So while the rest of us struggle to pay massive council tax bills, especially in low pay Shropshire, our wonderful members of parliament milk every penny they can out of the system.
There are many people out there who have committed benefit fraud and have spent some time at Her Majesty's pleasure, rightfully so, but let's have one rule for all and put these dishonourable members behind bars.
Ignorance is no excuse in the eyes of the law.
