What's with the lights?

LETTER: Could someone please tell me why at 5.30 in the morning, when I am the only one on the road, do I have to stop at every traffic light on both Dobbies Island and Emstrey?

Also why are there lights actually on the island? I thought they were meant to be only on at peak times and to solve problems, not create problems.

Am I the only one that thinks like this?
