Sheila Bellamy, 49, licensee of The White Lion pub in Wellington and the Bell Inn, Crosshouses in Shrewsbury, was accused of illegally screening the Charlton against Aston Villa match at the Wellington pub on December 30, 2006.
Miss Bellamy denied dishonestly receiving the programme under the Copy- right Designs and Patents Act 1988. Dismissing the case against Miss Bellamy, District Judge Cockrel said she was an "honest person".
Miss Bellamy had told the court that joint-licensee and her partner at the time, Nigel Bell, had organised the installation of the decoder.
Nigel Bell, 43, of The Hussey Arms, Brownhills, Cannock, was found not guilty of the same offence after the judge said there was no case to answer.
