The full-time firefighters have been filmed over the last few months for the documentary series which illustrates the challenges faced by firefighters every day from incidents to community fire safety work.
The documentary also features numerous North Wales Fire and Rescue Service community-led initiatives such as Pass Plus Cymru and the Phoenix course.
The programme also features interviews with the chief fire officer and other key members of the service about how they are looking to tackle fire deaths and injuries in coming years.
The programme will also focus on staff from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service.
Stuart Millington, watch manager, Green Watch, Wrexham, said: "The whole watch was followed by cameras over a number of months, during both day and night shifts."
Mr Millington added: "We are looking forward to seeing the end product and showing the viewers just how diverse the role of the modern firefighter has now become - a high percentage of our work is now involving preventing fires from occurring in the first place."
The first episode of the documentary will be shown on ITV1 at 10:30pm on Thursday.
