Mystery of lights in sky

Residents watched in amazement as strange lights "danced" in the sky over Telford early today.

Pat Bryant, of Briggs Way, Wrockwardine Wood, told how she stood and looked at the phenomenon at about 1am.

"There were like tiny puffy clouds going around in circles. They kept going for about an hour," she said. "They were dancing around like a kaleidoscope."

Louise Wearmouth also saw the lights from Eyton-on-the-Weald Moors. She said it was a "fabulous sight" but believed it was a laser or something similar.
