New look required on politics

Is no-one interested in renewing Britain through the European Union? Surely that cannot be the case?

I believe in maintaining Britain's links with Europe and of fostering a partnership to improve the conditions of every European citizen.

The scope for change is wide open as the two confrontational ideologies of Euro-scepticism and Euro-enthusiasm are at each others' throats.

There must be an opening in the centre for a moderate alternative through this letters page.

I intend to make the case for an alternative political philosophy, one that is passionate about change and co-operation, not about hostility and argument.
