Counties should be led by wise
Solitary times are often happier for memories of kind, wise people we have met. Voting means we hope a country will be led by the wisest of all.

But I have just read that, for America, Mr Bush is making exactly the same war noises to Iran as those which led to disaster in Iraq.
In short, all right for the US to make nuclear weapons, but if Iran makes any they could have America's bombs on them, guilty and innocent alike. If wisdom is there, it is surely in very heavy disguise.
I'm glad to read of the firm stand taken by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown against Robert Mugabe whose obsession with race and past colonisation has led to such cruelty within his own country, even to members of his own race.
I hope Mr Brown's absence from a summit meeting will make him think, and that African leaders can bring him some amazing grace, to see.
