Flag does nothing for business

I read in the paper that the Cittaslow flag has been taken down.

I have spoken to loads of people in Ludlow and asked them if they know what it means. I do not and the people I spoke to did not know.

If it is that good for business, why are there so many empty shops in Ludlow? Shopkeepers say business is poor.

It might bring loads of people to Ludlow sight-seeing, but not spending.

Helping independent business? What a laugh. I read that supporters claim they got a £20 grant. what for? Who gets that?

Do I support it through my council tax?

It might be good for big businesses but what does it do for the man in the street?
