Council is becoming so farcical

I am led to believe that the Conservative Party now runs North Shropshire District Council at Edinburgh House in Wem.

Could I ask David Minnery, the leader of the council, when they intend to open up our town hall, because they will soon need it open to put on their own version of a Whitehall farce.

I nearly fell off my chair laughing when I read that they had appointed one of their own to be Portfolio Holder for Climate Change.

Whatever next?

Perhaps a Portfolio Holder to count how many councillors and staff use bicycles instead of the petrol-guzzling cars I see parked at North Shropshire District Council's offices?

If they continue with these wild ideas I can tell them that the weather forecast over Edinburgh House for the future will be gloomy, wet with a lot of squally showers.
