Sian, who has also experienced a rough year due to her ex-fiance Lembit Opik's romance with Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia, joined the ITV weather team in 1990 and picked up the Presenter's Prize at the International Weather Forecasters Festival in Paris in 1993. Top Gear star Richard Hammond also picked up a broadcasting award yesterday. Hammond, 37, was named best satellite/digital TV personality for his role as host on Brainiac.
