Make club pay for its policing

I can tell him who this increasing band of people are not. They are not people who put on yellow and blue shirts and parade through the streets of Shrewsbury and other towns.
They are people who do not need a police escort to go about their business. They do not have sponsored internet sites on which to post action and calls to write to the press. They do not puncture tyres.
They are people who are very concerned to hear the local authority has allowed a stadium to be built without forethought for appropriate parking - with STFC town officials stating in your newspaper that they will have to use the Shirehall car park and others.
I guess they have already sought permission for this, so who is going to pay and police this arrangement?
As the only football team in the county with league status, the catchment area must be seen as the whole county.
This means that less than one per cent of the county's population bothers to turn up and support them, but 100 per cent will have to support policing.
These costs should be recovered from the club.
