Disruption all around my town

Shifnal is just becoming a building site. Everywhere you look there is scaffolding, diggers, lorries and loads of men in white hats and yellow jackets.

There are building works in the middle of town by Bar Seven, blocking the road with three-way lights.

On the old Jig & Tool site they are building apartments (flats to me) and the Church Street half of the road is blocked.

In Park Street once again apartments are going up and have been for two years. Aston Street is also having two houses built on a small plot of land. In Haughton Road a house is being built and on the old squash club houses/ apartments being built. Also in Victoria Road where the garage was.

It is chaos up and down the street whether walking or driving. I hope the people who purchase these properties are not the ones writing in the paper in the next couple of years complaining about the disruption that the carnival brings for a few days a year.
