New lights make me feel safe
Am I still standing completely alone? I like the new lights at Ketley and Trench. Oh dear, I will be hanged, drawn and quartered by the masses.

Councillor Dixon said in Friday's Star: "It seems to me putting traffic lights on roundabouts is a contradiction in terms, that's not what roundabouts are for".
He forgets this is not a normal situation, we are talking about Telford.
Every precious space in Telford is built on, we live in a damaged concrete metropolis.
Greed and money prevail here, the need to beat the next man is compulsive, either to get to the town centre or Asda in Donnington.
It's full of many faceless people who move in unison who can't wait to break their necks to spend the money they've got on credit. But the lights have slowed them down, and I feel safer as a driver.
Where is the beautiful land I grew up in? You see, to those who would put me down, I'm not an out-of- towner. This is my land and that of many generations of my family who worked their socks off here. It wasn't called Telford then. They would turn in their graves to see such a beautiful place demolished so quickly.
If the lights slow the idiots down, so be it. Patience and care is a precious commodity lost in a deteriorating society.
Slow down Mr Dixon, you'll make yourself ill.
J Bilton, Donnington
