Council is ignoring the voters

Despite public opinion being against it, the Labour-led Telford & Wrekin Council is doing exactly the same as their counterparts at Westminster and ignoring the wishes of the electorate.

By going ahead with the proposed development of the Town Park the council is showing total ignorance of the people who elected them to office.

The previous Labour leader of the council was removed by his own members for exactly this reason and in May the electorate will have the chance to remove those councillors who have taken them and their wishes for granted.

The United Kingdom Independence Party will have candidates in various wards around the borough and these candidates will consult and follow the wishes of those who elected them.
