Timetable not to be trusted
Why does Arriva print a timetable if it doesn't stick to it? On October 27 we were visiting relatives in Madeley. We planned to catch the number nine departing Madeley Court Street at 8.20pm.
Why does Arriva print a timetable if it doesn't stick to it? On October 27 we were visiting relatives in Madeley. We planned to catch the number nine departing Madeley Court Street at 8.20pm. We started walking along Court Street at 8.13pm when the number nine drove pass the designated bus stop and headed towards us on Court Street.
We frantically waved our arms to stop the bus, but it just carried on.
We know we weren't late as the bus only departs theÊtown centre at 20.10pm. My eight-year-old daughter started crying and said "how are we getting home now?"
That was the last bus of the day going to Broseley. I was furious. So why do Arriva print a timetable as drivers refuse to stop at the designated pick up point to pick up passengers?
We had to phone relatives in Broseley and ask if they could kindly pick us up.
My advice to bus passengers is don't always rely on the bus timetable.
