Mum-of-two Keri Lloyd, of Aston Street, received the windfall after her numbers came up during the draw on October 28. Keri is pictured with partner Alan Nicholson and children Brandon, left, and Dylan.

The 27-year-old said today that she was feeling "a bit dazed" after netting £1,016,840, and her first big buy would be a house.

Keri revealed she chose her six winning numbers - 4, 5, 6, 12, 20 and 29 - by using her two sons' birthdays.

Her 23-month-old son Brandon's birth date is 29/12/04 and little six-month-old Dylan was born on 20/05/06.

Keri, who looks after her sons full-time, said she had been doing the lottery "religiously" every Wednesday and Saturday ever since Dylan was born.

And she said the big win would ensure they both had a wonderful future.

Keri, who lives with her partner of seven years Alan Nicholson, said today: "I am feeling a bit dazed by it all. The first thing we will buy is a house, probably on the outskirts of Wem, but other than that we don't know.

"I checked it on Teletext the next day and I screamed when I saw it. I was with my sister Beverley at the time and I got her to check it too.

"I have been doing the lottery for a couple of years, but I have been doing it religiously every single Saturday and Wednesday since Dylan was born."

But former Thomas Adams School pupil Keri said she had not really had chance to buy anything or celebrate the win yet - except for a quiet drink in the pub with her sister.

"We haven't got any other plans. The most important thing is to concentrate on buying a house," she said.

"We haven't even thought about a holiday yet, but we might go next year. I haven't got a clue where.

"Most people have said they are pleased and everyone has sent their congratulations. I am still so shocked but my sons are set up for life. I have done the lottery since Dylan was born to try to win and give them a better start in life."

Keri bought her lucky ticket at the Co-op store in Wem, where she always buys it.

The jackpot on the night of Keri's big win was £4.06 million and the money was split between four tickets.
