Exit dates from wars needed
With the media covering Mr Blair's exit and all the wannabe PMs concentrating solely on self-promotion after he goes, can I remind readers that there are a couple of wars going on in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Mr Blair and his cronies got us involved in these conflicts, yet, strangely, we hear less and less from our masters about the deteriorating situation. We are told the world is a safer place yet independent figures dictate this is not the case. More people are dying now than when the Taliban and Saddam Hussein were in power, fact.
Is the Prime Minister going to sort these problems out or at least give the nation an exit strategy before he departs? Can he guarantee the safety of both the Iraqi and Afghanistan people after we go?
The question I fear will continue to go unanswered as members of the Government scrabble around to gain more individual status.
So Tony, I will put it simply for you: how many of our own people have to die before you decide enough is enough and bring the boys home? If you won't give a date or exit procedure, will you give a figure?
Sadly the people paying the price for this man's folly will continue to do so, as more of our servicemen and innocent civilians fall.
When you do go Mr Blair, hang your head in shame.
