Pensioner did the right thing
I really feel sorry for Diane Bond and feel she is being victimised by the authorities for standing up to a group of young hooligans. How can they sleep at night knowing what distress they are putting this pensioner through?
Do those involved with this unwarranted bureaucracy have elderly relatives of their own? How would they feel if their elderly relative had suffered the same?
Which side are law enforcement agencies on in 21st century Britain? Because it doesn't seem to be the side of the law-abiding general public.
Can you imagine John Steed and Emma Peel from the Avengers going about their daily business in 21st Britain? I couldn't! They would be arrested at the first swing of Steed's umbrella.
It seems these law enforcement agencies are far more comfortable pursuing the law-abiding majority who just want to live in peace and quiet.
If they put as much energy into sorting out the yobs who blight decent people's lives, what a wonderfully crime free and peaceful society we would all be enjoying now.
I wish Diane Bond all the fairness in the world and hope she gets the justice she so rightly deserves. Good luck Ms Bond, my thoughts and prayers are with you, as are many thousands of others, I am sure.
