Shrewsbury group to bring Beauty and the Beast to life at Theatre Severn
Talented members of a Shropshire drama group are getting ready to take to the stage for a magical new production of Beauty and the Beast.

A cast of 70 from Shrewsbury amateur dramatic group Get Your 'Wigle' On will bring to life the Disney classic at Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury.
Following the success of its last production,The Wizard of Oz in June, the company is hoping audiences will enjoy its latest family-friendly show.
James Broxton, from 'Get Your Wigle On', said: "We have performers as young as seven years old and some in their 60s, all from Shrewsbury."
With classic songs such as 'Something There', 'Be Our Guest' and 'Tale as Old as Time', Disney's musical stage adaption of Beauty and the Beast follows the story of young Belle who dreams of life outside her provincial village.
On a journey to find her father Maurice, who has been taken captive by the Beast, she takes his place to save him and becomes trapped in the cursed castle.
The only way the spell can be broken is if the Beast can learn to love another and earn her love in return before the last petal from the enchanted rose falls.
The show will be full of colourful characters, professional scenery and costumes, and will feature a live orchestra and even flying.
It will run from tonight until Saturday at Theatre Severn. Performances start at 7.30pm with an extra matinee performance at 2.30pm on Saturday.
Tickets range in price between £10 to £15.
