Book 10 years in the making
An author has released her latest thriller about a mysterious death list.
Carys Jones, from Telford, has written The List, which is now available to buy on Amazon and in Waterstones.
She has been working on the idea for a decade and is thrilled to be releasing the book, albeit in unusual circumstances thanks to the coronavirus crisis.
The book is about a woman who finds a slip of paper while out on her daily run, only to see her name written on it.
She learns that the first two names are of people who have died, and worries that she could be next. As she delves in to find the truth, it leads her into danger.
The book is Carys’ first paperback release.
She said: “It is a moment which has been ten years in the making. Bringing this book out during a global pandemic is strange to say the least. I’m hoping to sign copies at Waterstones Telford and Shrewsbury in the near future.”
Fellow Shropshire-based author Adam Hamdy said: “The List is a sharp psychological thriller. Carys Jones delivers twists and turns that will keep you hooked.”
