Stars bring back colour at the Critics’ Choice Awards after wearing black at the Golden Globes

The ceremony took place days after actresses used style choices to protest against sexual misconduct in Hollywood.

Stars opted for a splash of colour at the Critics’ Choice Awards after wearing black at the Golden Globes.

Nicole Kidman, who scooped a gong for Big Little Lies, wore a dazzling, pink gown, complete with ruffles and silver sequins.

Fellow winner Allison Janney, who was awarded a trophy for her role in I, Tonya, dazzled in a floor-length, blue frock.

Many of the actresses at the Critics’ Choice Awards wore white, with Angelina Jolie in a shoulderless frock, slit to the thigh, with a feathered detail, on the blue carpet.
