Elaine Delmar to play Birmingham this Valentine's Day

Jazz musician Elaine Delmar will perform in Birmingham this Valentine's Day.

Accompanying her are the Barry Green Quartet featuring Barry Green on piano, Simon Thorpe on bass and Bobby Worth on drums.

Elaine, who began her career singing in working men’s clubs, has combined singing with acting notably in London shows such as Finians Rainbow, No Strings’ Cowardy Custard and Bubbling Brown Sugar as well as Jerome Kern goes to Hollywood both in London and on Broadway.

Elaine was the recipient of the Special Award for Jazz by the 2013 All Party Parliamentary Jazz Awards. Recently she featured in the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall as a solo jazz artist and is a regular artist at the EFG London Jazz Festival.

Elaine Delmar will play Birmingham's Pizza Express on February 14.
