While the 20 plus hot air balloons were the stars of the show - particularly when they were lit up for the spectacular night glow - there was plenty to do throughout Saturday and Sunday.

Organisers even set up a large screen in Cae Glas Park on Sunday morning to carnival goers could watch England play Australia in the Football World Cup final.

High winds on Saturday meant that the morning balloon lift off didn't go ahead on safety grounds.

Instead visitors enjoyed getting the feeling of being in a balloon basket as well as performances from Raptor Cheerleaders and Border Counties Gymnastics, football fun and games with the TNS Foundation, music from The People’s Choir, alpacas are back, and more.
