Oswestry Ladies Choir will embark on a musical journey around the world in its concert on June 17.
What a wonderful world will see the choir singing not only in English but in Welsh, Swedish, Japanese, Spanish, French and Swahili.
The selection of easy-to-listen-to music has enjoyed decades of popularity.
Joining the choir will be Rebecca Roberts a young singer from Wrexham who began singing competitively at age six, has sung throughout UK and is a previous gold medal winner at Llangollen Eisteddfod.
The concert, conducted by Dawn Jaffray, takes place on All Saints Church Gobowen. Tickets priced £10 for adults and free for children under the age of 16 are available from choir members, by telephone 01691 654802 and at the door. Refreshments are available
before and after the concert with proceeds going to All Saints Church Gobowen.
