First V Festival tickets to go on sale

The first 10,000 tickets for next year's V Festival at Weston Park, near Shifnal, will go on sale on Thursday.

Organisers are releasing 10,000 tickets for each of the two sites - Weston Park and Chelmsford - at noon. But music fans will only have 24 hours to snap up the tickets.

Festival chiefs said it was the last chance for fans to buy tickets at this year's prices and beat next year's VAT rise.
