Dental workers to get a taste of Telford
Dental technicians from across the country are to gather in Telford next month after the town was chosen to host a two-day national show.
The Dental Tech Show, the UK's only event totally dedicated to dental technicians and dental laboratories, will take place at the International Centre on March 19 and 20, marking the first time the event has been held in the area.
Delegates at the event will get the chance to see a unique showcase of technical dentistry including a range of lectures, presentations, and hands-on demonstrations from internationally-recognised experts from the technical world.
Some of the largest dental technology suppliers and manufacturers will also be on hand to showcase what's new in equipment, products, and services.
Tom Gray, chief executive of Southwater Event Group, which owns The International Centre, said the show was the latest in a series of new contract wins for the venue which were all linked to the medical sector.
The venue has been used for a string of health sector events, bringing thousands of delegates to the town.
