Staffordshire Law firm sponsors local boxing club

A Staffordshire based law firm has confirmed a new sponsorship partnership with Wellington Boxing Club in Wellington, supporting the club’s youth, elite and community programmes.

KMC Legal & Finance will sponsor the club as it continues its work with young people, amateur and professional boxers, and members of the wider community. The gym is open to all ages and abilities and is headed by former world champion Richie Woodhall.

Wellington Boxing Club has built a strong reputation for developing talent at the highest level, having recently trained newly crowned world champion Shabaz Masoud, also known as Shabaz the Maverick. Alongside competitive success, the club places a strong emphasis on discipline, confidence and positive mental health.

The club also runs specialist boxing based fitness sessions for people living with Parkinson’s disease, reflecting its commitment to inclusivity and community wellbeing.
