The highly-rated forward has committed himself to Tigers despite interest from other teams in the English Premier League.

Watkins said: "It's great news to have resigned Callum. He is an integral part of the team and a guy who improves game on game.

"This will be his third year with Tigers and he has earned a lot of responsibility over that time. I have faith in him in any game situation.

"Callum has developed into a very strong centre in all three zones, with a terrific work ethic. I am excited to work with him again next season and continue his development.

"I am expecting big things from Callum next season and he is more than capable of achieving them."

Bowley is pleased to be back with the Tigers. He said: "It's great to be back with the club for a third season.

"I had offers from elsewhere but I wanted to re-sign for Tigers after talking to Tom and hearing his plans for this year.

"For me, personally, the ice-time I get here is fantastic and crucial for my development. I want to progress and become a 'go-to guy' on the team.

"I felt Tigers was the best place for me and I'm delighted to be back. Next season I think making the play-offs is a must, for the club, the players and the fans.

"I'm determined to help the club achieve that goal."

Tigers' player recruitment is now in full swing, with player-coach Watkins working hard on deals over what promises to be a busy summer for the club.
