Ten man Caersws pegged back by late equaliser

Caersws are still looking to kickstart their season as their draw against Flint Mountain made it seven games without a win in the Cymru North for the Bluebirds.

Craig Williams's side have endured a difficult start to the campaign - with their only win coming back at the start of the season against Brickfield Rangers.

In their latest outing they welcomed fellow strugglers Flint Mountain to the Recreation Ground - and were ahead after just four minutes when Sam Phillips set up Harry Cottam for the opener.

They held that lead until the 63rd minute - with Kieran Owens put the visitors back on level terms.

But five minutes later and Williams's side were back in front as Max McLaughlin set up Dillon Browne.

And they looked on course for only their second league win of the season - before a climactic last five minutes.

With five minutes left of normal time Sws were reduced to ten men when Thomas Edwards was shown a straight red card.

Then four minutes later they had been pegged back again - as Flint's Owen Cassidy struck to earn his side a point.

Elsewhere, basement side Penrhyncoch were looking to record their first win of the season as they welcomed Gresford Athletic - but the game was called off due to high winds.
