Kenny Jackett sticking to his guns over Wolves' 'mini crisis'

The head coach acknowledges he must come up with the answers "very, very quickly" to end a slump which has seen his team lose four games on the spin and concede 14 goals in process.

But while the pressure may be on, Jackett will stay true to his beliefs and draw on the experiences of his years in management to get through the troubling spell.

"It's about identifying exactly what needs to improve and making sure you do that," he said. "We've identified those things and we have to start putting them into practice now.

"Yes, I'll stick to my principles. Helping the players play to their strengths is a big thing."

Saturday's 4-0 defeat at Brentford has increased the scrutiny on Jackett and when asked whether his team are now experiencing a mini-crisis, he was not in the mood to argue.

"You can use whichever words you want," he said. "It's a very poor spell anyway, a very poor spell we need to improve on.

"We have identified similar things in recent weeks and we have to come up with the answers very, very quickly. Whether you use the word crisis or just poor spell, the bottom line is we need to improve."
